Try a two-hour introductory lesson on a Friday afternoon from 3-5 pm. Weave
a table runner or scarf on a prepared loom. $35 per lesson.

Learn
to prepare the loom with your own colors and fibers. Weave your very own
traditional table runners, place mats or scarves. Or be adventurous and
try the Japanese Saori method that is pure improvisation and allows colors
and textures to unfold as you weave. Peg has been a traditional weaver
for 30 years, but she has recently returned form her second trip to Japan
where she discovered Saori weaving. Saori can provide pleasure and accomplishment
for everyone, regardless of physical or mental ability, age or artistic
aptitude. Try it! Learn both methods in the same class!
Try weaving
traditional 4-harness patterns – twills, overshot, and many others.
Prerequisites: at least one series of classes on the SAORI loom AND one
two-hour “Introduction to 4-Harness Pattern Weaving". Call
for further information.
